One of the most effective ways to condition yourself for success and achievement is to constantly feed your mind with positive thoughts, ideas and goals. Train your brain is all about conditioning yourself for high level success and achievement. It is also about reaching a higher level of conscious awareness.
There are many ways to accomplish this. It can be done by reading, listening or watching inspirational and educational materials. You can accomplish it by modeling other successful achievers, networking and attending seminars. The best way to do it, however, is to visualize your success in advance. Run a movie in your own mind of you doing what you want to do successfully. In Tang Soo Do, we call this Mu Sang which is to record and visualize. You must see it before you believe it!
It’s been proven that the more good you put in, the more good will come out. You are programming a computer. In this case, it is the most powerful computer on earth: your brain! If you constantly allow garbage to go into your mind and body, you better be ready to deal with the garbage that is going to come out. Positive input, combined with positive self-talk and affirmations, will keep you motivated and inspire you to take massive action toward your goals.
Leaders & Champions in sports, business & the Martial Arts frequently use these powerful tools to prepare themselves for Peak Performance. For most people, one of the biggest enemies to success is their own limited thinking and the feeling that they’re not good enough. Some people even put themselves down and fill their mind with fears, uncertainties and doubt. This can be very damaging to your desire and motivation to succeed. The more you fill your mind with positive thoughts, ideas and goals, the greater your self esteem and confidence will become.
Experts say it takes 21 days to develop a new habit. Take the next three weeks to fill your mind with nothing but positive thoughts and ideas…No negatives, all positives! Every time you have the urge to say something negative, bite your tongue as a way to remember the pain you cause yourself by thinking, speaking, and acting in a negative way. Repeat positive affirmations and quotes to yourself, over and over again, you’ll be amazed and impressed with the results. Just like our physical muscles, we can build our mental muscles by exercising them.
Think, act and train like a Black Belt Leader and Champion & soon you’ll be one!
2011 is here and it’s time to start the New Year Fast & Furious!
Are you eager to make it your best ever? Would you like it to be your best for Health… Wealth and Happiness? Author, Steven Covey says: “To Predict the Future…you must create it!” Start creating your perfect year by first creating it in your mind. Close your eyes and picture your “Perfect Year” in your mind. Visualize the Year 2011 going exactly as you planned, hoped and dreamed.
This exercise, called VISUALIZATION is practiced by Olympic athletes, champions in sports, martial arts, business, politics and nearly every type of high level achievement. It’s a very powerful exercise and it’s proven to help you create clarity about your dreams and goals for the New Year. Once you’ve drawn a picture of your perfect year in your mind, it’s best to take a few minutes to write down your goals.
This is called your WISHLIST or your VISION for 2011. Powerful and positive steps to creating your picture perfect year. No limits…No boundaries…No-Holds barred. Write down everything as if you absolutely knew you could not fail. There are rarely unrealistic goals, however, often there are unrealistic deadlines. A Goal is merely a Dream with a Deadline. The moment you take action to write down your goals, you begin to create them.
Experts in human performance say that the simple act of writing down your goals for the New Year, or anytime, gives them 10x more power and increases your odds of success and achievement tenfold. By writing them down, you’ve created greater clarity and this gives you a power most people will never possess.
Don’t Wait…Create. Goals we Set are Goals we Get! If you want to see 2011 be your best ever…
