Master Noelle Drewicz has been training and teaching martial arts since October 2000 when Cambridge Tang Soo Do opened its doors. Master Drewicz is a charter member of the school and the first student to reach the rank of Master (4th degree Black Belt). She is currently one of the chief instructors of the school and devotes most of her time to the physical, mental, and spiritual development of students.
Before becoming a martial artist, Master Drewicz studied and taught dance for 28 years. She believes that the two disciplines have many commonalities and that her years of study in dance gave her the perfect background to become a technically refined Tang Soo Do practitioner. She brings the rigor, precision and discipline of her dance background into her Tang Soo Do training and is known for leading some of our most advanced and most difficult warm-up classes, inspired by her years of flexibility training.
Master Drewicz has also had an impressive competitive career as a martial artist, having competed in many local and regional events over the past 15 years. She is the only student to have won the New England All Around Women’s Championship 6 years in a row. She recently retired from the competition circuit. Outside of the martial arts, Master Drewicz is a senior designer at a Boston-based architectural firm.
