As you already know, up until now, our Saturday classes were limited to the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. Due to the steady growth of our Tang Soo Do student base and to the fact that we now have a significant amount of advanced belts, I have decided to have a 2 hour Tang Soo Do classes every Saturday starting the month of September.
This being said, I would like to structure the Saturday classes in the following manner:
- 1st Saturday: The first Saturday of each month will be dedicated to Black Belts only. Please remember that all Cambridge Tang Soo Do Black Belts dedicate a lot of their time teaching during class and it is only fair to them that they also get to train on more advanced techniques so that they can also work towards their next promotion.
- 2nd, 3rd 4th Saturday: All other Saturdays will be open to all ranks. The structure of the Saturday classes will remain the same, meaning that the first hour will be dedicated to the lower belts (beginners and intermediate) and the second hour will focus on advanced belts (advanced). If you have ever attended a Saturday class, you are probably familiar with its informality, meaning that most students attending can work one on one with an advanced student on whatever techniques they want.
Please note that the new Saturday class schedule will be adjusted around competitions, seminars and Gup/Dan tests which mostly fall on Saturdays as well. Advanced notice will be given in case of a change.
I hope that all of you will take advantage of these additional classes. I look forward to seeing you then.
Tang Soo!
