Total Life Warrior – Part 2

January 12th, 2018

A Total Life Warrior is someone who pursues self-mastery daily. This is called “seeking” and those who pursues this path are “seekers”. Please note that seekers pursue personal growth with a passion. They also define growth as happiness and ultimately pleasure. They are wise enough to understand that it doesn’t happen automatically. It takes discipline.

Total Practitioners are focused on learning, growing, and sharing. They are also committed to serving, leading, and inspiring. They do this by continually:

  • Seeing New Places
  • Meeting New People
  • Thinking New Thoughts
  • Learning New Things
  • Gaining New Ground
  • Sharing New Insights

Total practitioners have empowering beliefs which lead to strong convictions (i.e., rock solid core values). Their convictions lead to Clarity, Commitment, Action & Congruency!

Total Practitioners also ask empowering questions. Questions like:

  1. What’s my ultimate purpose in life?
  2. How can I make a major impact on this world?
  3. Who do you know that I should know?
  4. What would I do if I knew that I couldn’t fail?
  5. How do I want the world to be different because I lived in it?
  6. Where do I want to travel to this year to experience something new?
  7. What do I need to learn from this?

Wouldn’t it be great if every time you did something you were able to learn something from it? How about if every time you approached something you did it with the confidence that you knew it was going to turn out very well. Wouldn’t that be great? Wouldn’t it also be great if every day you woke up truly excited about your day and ready to make a major difference? I think we would all agree that it would be very difficult to have everything work out as well as I just described. This said or written, we certainly can work and train our brains to increase our success ratio and lean the odds in our favor most of the time.

A big part of what makes high-achievers tick is always having exciting goals to work towards. How do we do this? The answer is simple. Keep your goals and objectives in front of you and on your mind every day, several times a day. It’s about claritycommitment…and action! It’s also about being more aware and congruent by waking your talk. That is, making sure your actions match what you want and expect.

“Nothing limits achievement like small thinking; nothing expands possibilities like unleashed imagination.”  William Arthur Ward, Poet
